They are working on it I believe, not sure it's something I would use in my
hives, but I read an article somewhere (bee journal?) working on entrance
reducers laced with varroacides to kill mites on entering bees. I looked
for an article covering it, but couldn't find it since I can't remember
what they called the thing.
If you could find a pheromone signal though it might be a way to create a
"trap" like they use for beetles.
