Hi Bill and All

What concentration of fumigillin do you use? A member of our local
assoc contacted Medivet and asked how to treat for Nosema cerana. He
claims that they told him 454gm (1 pound) in 25 litres (6.6 gallon)
1:1 syrup applied @ 250 ml(1 cup) drenched on the bees, 3 times @ 3
day intervals. Seems pretty strong to me as well as drowning rather
than drenching. Expensive as well @ C$196 for fumigillin to treat 33
hives = C$6 per hive plus syrup, and more for those with fewer hives
and buying smaller bottles of fumigillin.
