A pheromone has been found that can attract Asian Long-horned Beetles so
that they can be killed, which could then halt the highly speculative and
unpopular (at least with beekeepers in western MA) use of Imidacloprid in
both ground drench and tree injection scenarios in the fight against the ALB
by USDA APHIS.
