One of the best indicators is the number of hives in the U.S. is the
ability of beekeepers to fulfill the growing demand for almond pollination.
That number of hives has increased over the past three years, despite the
need for additional hives due to increases in the number of bearing acres.
Although the media and entertainment industry have convinced the public
that honey bees are in decline, all evidence that I've seen is to the
contrary.
