Why does the plant need more "leaf protection" later in the season?

James, I am just guesing here, but I suspect they think the low amount of
pesticide still in the plant, will not be enough as pest build up
tolerance. Most pest damage is a problem in the early stages of plant
development. As the plant grows concentrations drop, add to that insects
becoming tolerant maybe?

Using it as a late season foliar, will increase sales that's for sure. And
yes, that to me would be a violation of the promise of neonics. The last
thing we need is both.

Charlie
