I agree with Peter...I think unless you are grafting for hours every day (which will give you enough practice to get good with another style of tool), the chinese tool is the best bet....and I've not found the need to prime plastic cell cups. I like to describe the depositing of the larvae in the cell cup like the "pull out the table cloth and leave the dishes on the table" trick.
When I teach people to graft, I have them first practice on a glass microscope slide...they can see what they are doing without manuvering in the cell cup. After they have mastered this, cell cups are a breeze.
