I have been trying to get folks to talk about using AHB or AHB hybrids, for decades. I am very interested in this topic yet nobody wants to talk about it publicly. AHBs are not illegal in many states, and the hybrids are almost impossible to identify without resorting to DNA testing. So, Ruth, how do you decide which hives to keep and what happens to the ones that are "too hot to work "?
