We do lots of group extractions, as the gear is bulky and expensive, and
most city homes do not have the space to store the equipment, let alone the
space to set it all up and run a few supers of honey through.



Yes, all those painfully young people made it through the November - June
"Really Hardcore, But Absolutely Free Beekeeping Course".   This is what
hobby beekeeping is, and it is more like it is right now than it ever has
been before - a lot younger, a lot more female, very enthusiastic, often
vegan, organic, macrobiotic, gluten-free, or all of the above, and sometimes
just slightly oblivious about "the basics".  Note the lack of gloves and
hairnets.   So they came to a city and state-inspected kitchen, but ignored
the first rule of food-handling.   (Sigh.  800 years, jedi I have trained.)
