The oldtime newspaper is dying and the TV networks are vying for viewership. They don't care about about being objective and accurate any more. They take little blips and blow them out of proportion so they can sensationalize and sell more newspapers and gain a greater number of viewers. The old addage, "Don't believe anything that you hear and only 1/2 of what you see." is now "If you didn't see it with your own eyes and verified by a number of viewers standing beside you, don't believe it." Journalism has gone by the wayside.
