Hi Pete and all
Maybe try gelignite or a jack hammer. Here in Ontario our hive
bodies are made of 7/8" pine. Outside measurements 20"x16 5/8" so
inside 1/4" smaller than 3/4" US boxes. Now throw in 10 self spacing
frames to make things just a little more difficult. I use 9 staple
frames(no shoulders) in both brood boxes and honey supers.
