I have to confess, it is even worse than that. I used Allen's (A Canadian)
website for formic acid pad preparation and Medhat's (a Canadian)
application information and they all survived. Obviously I have gone over
to the dark side, but, fortunately, a beekeeper across the street practices
US home grown Natural beekeeping from a US well known natural beekeeper
and, if all the bees are lost again this winter as they always are, she
will continue to show those Canadians a thing or two.
Go USA! (in spite of me and my lack of patriotism).
