Hello All,
I watched the CBS world news report on current bee loss.

The report was about huge bee loss in California! A California commercial beekeeper named Larry Pender
from Camero (spelling?) California.

Said he loss over 3 thousand hives recently and lost a half million dollars last year.

Laid off two thirds of his employees.

Said he did not know how long he can continue with current losses.

Maybe one of those beekeepers Randy is encouraging to get into commercial beekeeping might need contacted.

What does the beekeeper blame? The neonics.

The big joke is the EPA said they were reviewing the neonics. Problem is the review will take another five years!

I doubt Larry pender will be in business in another five years as will many others if losses continue.

The report lasted 2 minutes. 2 minutes of commercials before and after the report.I love my DVR!

What is killing the bees?

bob
