So how does one figure the yearly per colony production average.
I take the amount extracted from my spring flow divided by the number of hives I took honey off of,
And add it to
the amount extracted from my fall flow divided by the number of hives I took honey off of.
I consider this to be my to be my yearly per colony average.
I make early splits which won't produce any spring excess but often will give me a super or two in the fall.
I also make later splits that don't produce in the fall but become next years producers.
Is my math a little too fuzzy here.
