Sounds like the real test then would be planting a patch of untreated
canola after potatoes and measuring the levels the plant actually updates
(or any similar rotation). Assuming you can find untreated seed it should
be theoretically cheaper, a rotation would be a way to save money and
reduce residues, but my guess is that crop price and yield is a bigger
concern than price of seed, but then again I farm as a hobby.
