Frank Lindsay sent Xmas greetings to the list and said
"Good morning. It’s nearly seven AM in New Zealand. The sky is bright blue
with hardly a cloud in the sky. A very light southerly breeze is ruffling
....."
Ditto here in Western Australia, 6.55am and I can hear excited young voices
down the corridor surveying the mess Santa made coming down the chimney
durng the night. Fortunately for him, the chimney was cool, 40 degrees
Celsius forecast for today, with not less than 35 forecast for the next 7
days, so no heating by open fires required for the next 6 months. Great
weather for the Jarrah honey flow which is on just outside my office window.
A very noisy flock of black cockatoos just flew past and they obviously
think its a great day too. My friend Walter Zimmerman from Little Wolf
Apiaries in Ontario ( who just sent me a delightful little You Tube video
showcasing an insight into his outfit) has sent me his special Turkey
stuffing recipe, so I'd better get up to the operations centre where an
early start on preparations for the feast has been underway for the past
hour or so. My absence has been noted, I am ashamed to say. Bee-L will have
to take the rap!
Festive seasons greetings to all on the list, and keep it coming.
