Hi all
What worries me is that beekeepers have targeted one or two products and if these are withdrawn, they will declare victory and go back to doing what they were doing. What needs is continual vigilance regarding bee health issues, not the targeting of a scapegoat.
If the companies follow the lead and withdraw these items, they can say they did what the beekeepers wanted, regardless of whether it was even a real problem. In the final analysis, this is more like a poker game than an intelligent exploration of the facts, leading to a mutually beneficial resolution.
