>Based on all that has been said about difficulties introducing Russians
A few years ago I introduced about 30 purebreed Russians from 4 different
lines, and the next year another dozen or so from two different lines. All
were marked. I can't remember exact figures, but don't recall any
difficulty in getting them introduced into nucs made from my mongrel
Italian stock.
But I had, based upon reports of poor acceptance, taken the precaution of
introducing them into nucs of young bees with brood.
