> Here in Kansas City I've run into one overly aggressive feral colony
out of the 40 or so removals that I've done and have never gotten an
overly aggresive colony from the 60 or so swarms I've caught. I don't
think the Africanized bees have made it this far north.
Could be, but I keep remembering that Dewey Caron reported that he
observed bees in South America which acted like EHB in their temperament
and clustering, but proved to be AHB when tested. The difference he
reckoned was the environment.
These bees were in a more temperate area than bees which were showing
stereotypical AHB behaviour down in the warmer regions. These were
higher up, on a mountain and in a cooler clinmate.
