Savannah (our daughter) appreciates those of you who responded to her earlier invitation to help her with her science fair project- Using probiotics froom Kefir (and now Kombucha) to treat/prevent Nosema. One Bee-L member is interested in trying it "post-traditional Nosema treatment" to see if it helps; much like us eating yogurt after antibiotics.

Those of you who replied will be receiving an email asking for your mailing addresses if you have not yet given it. She will be sending you the materials to try out on your hives.

For those of you who would like to join in, please do! You will receive dried kefir powder to add to powdered sugar, a kombucha starter "mushroom" for making the kombucha tea as well as instructions, background reports, etc.

Thank you all so much. You can contact Savannah directly at: [log in to unmask], and of course put "Bee-L" in the subject line.
