Hi all everywhere,
My working partner, Greg, came home from a trip working out of town.
To his dismay he found 2, single story nucs and 1, 3 story nuc dead.
As he opened to see what may have happened, Japanese Hornets,
only 1, flew from 1 single nuc and 2 flew from the other single.
When he opened the 3 story nuc and started breaking it apart,
about 15 hornets flew out and did not leave but kept flying around and
into the nuc. It still had a little honey left. He took a 1X4 board
hitting the hornets killing several and bagged them.
Two for the hornets were still alive in the bag the next day.
What can be done to stop this??????
Lionel
