Subject: RE: [BEE-L] Intruder Trap
Dear All,
The Apiburg trap was designed by Professor Ifantidis of Greece. My
company, Vita (Europe) Limited, together with Professor Ifantidis and Dr
Alexandros Papachristoforou, have been working on this in the field for
several years.
It works very well for hornets and wasps (or yellow-jackets) and there are
other positive effects also, for example in limiting the spread of Varroa
by robbing bees. This is a patented invention and we intend to have it
available in many countries for early 2013.
Best regards,
Max
