I always thought that comments similar to the above missed the point. My
problem with Roundup - and similar products design to make nice green
flawless "little boxes" lawns is that in destroying things like dandelions
and clover we're also destroying wildflower food. In my simplicity I tend
to think that if all the natural bee fodder is gone, then what remains is
whatever we (as humans) choose to leave lying around, or what we choose to
grow en masse for our own agri-reasons. In other words, the balance is
gone.
I don't have FUD: Roundup is a weedkiller. I personally have a different
definition of a "weed".
