That's not how it works with diploid drones and you can't talk about queens crossing with queens anyway.
A queen carries two sex alleles.
The diploid drone problem occurs when a virgin queen mates with one or more drones which carry either of the these two sex alleles.
There are approximately 19 different sex alleles.
Either closely related drones or a completely unrelated drones could carry one or the other of the two sex alleles carried by the virgin queen.
Obviously in a closed population of closely related individuals the probability of a queen producing diploid drones will increase.
