Sometimes we pick up bees when off shore. They ride with us back to the
main land. Blown off course or out to an island after a nectar flow?

We were on the back side of Long Island, Maine when we picked up this
stowaway. I take care of some hives for someone who lives on the bay and
the bees never produce honey, to much water area? I figure half their
flight area is water so they can only go inland. There could bee trees on
the islands there are some beekeepers, we have a lot of islands in our bay.
