Salt soaps are quite effective as contact insecticides, and can work as
nerve disruptors, not unlike insecticides, when an insect is sprayed
adequately or dipped in a soap or sticker solution. Look up "Baldwin &
Koehler; Soaps and Cockroaches", or something like that.
I would think it difficult to cause colony level mortality from
spraying field bees with a Soap or Sticker solution.
