I've seen commercial beekeepers using benzaldehyde, and once inspected a
great number of hives following the beekeepers application 'at the rate'
recommended by the local bee guru.
Bottom line, he over-dosed, and lost the queens from about 40% of the
hives. Tricky stuff.
