I've had it Twice. Caught early. Am always checking myself
for the varmints. And the inside/outside cats get inspected
daily, too. Had a dog tick attached not long enough this
past summer. I know of many people who have had their lives
devastated with the Lyme Disease. Prevention and Caution
and daily self inspections are the way to go. And early
treatment. Physicians even will offer a short term
prophylactic treatment if you have had any tick attached and
you ask your regular caregiver. Now it is December and yet
one of our cats will still come in with a tick or two. Be
careful.

As an RN I cannot vouch for the anti-itch remedies mentioned
in earlier posts by other Beeks. Good Luck, folks.
