Hello,
We need to clarify what an 'environmental
factor' is, because I see the term, far too
often being used in a restricted manner
relating to climate conditions etc. when in
fact it is much more than that. Please pass
the word! Some writer please write this in
an article so the word can get out to all. ;)
An 'Environmental Factor' is previously
defined by E. F. Phillips, 1917
"The environmental factor may be inside or
outside the hive, or even inside or outside
the individual bee. For example, pathogenic
microorganisms or irritating foods are inside
but not part of the animal and are therefore
environmental factors."
