Wiping memory is the whole point of using nitrous oxide, beyond the
apparent benefits in introducing virgin and mated queens.
We're still hoping that those with access to research databases will
cough up some references on the question.
In particular, we are wondering if any adverse effects have been documented.
Wiping memory has some advantages to us for moving bees, but it seems to
me that wiping memory could have some harmful or at least
counterproductive effects on the colony's organization.
Additionally, we are wondering if the lost memory returns after a while.
Jerry, this seems like the kind of thing you specialize in. Any thoughts?
