Here in California, which the Spanish invaded and stole from the Native
Americans, who had previously invaded, and likely extirpated the native
megafauna, we are now being reinvaded by by a hybrid race of mixed Latinos,
who will soon be the majority of the human population in our state.

The state agricultural industry, our bee industry, and much of our other
industries would collapse without their willingness to work as we Anglo
Americans used to. When I visit local commercial beekeepers, their Latino
foremen and employees are treated as family.

On the other hand, as Bob points out, vast numbers of trucks crossing the
border, if they are not inspected for agricultural pests and contraband,
could really cause some problems here. Not to mention the safety factor if
their logbooks do not reflect the previous 24 hours in Mexico.
