The term "certified" organic conjures up in my mind a chemical analysis of the product with some representation that it meets certain specificaions and does not contain traces of modern ag chemicals....wouldn't mean a whole lot to me otherwise as chemicals show up in places they have never been used nowadays. The term "certified" naturally grown (CNG) seems to being used since so few honey producers can meet the standards for organically produced honey in the US. Were US honey contamination a major issue, I'm thinking we would be seeing a lot more headlines about it.
