We have the potential for a late nectar flow extending into October. The
neighbor has planted a field of radish for green manure. What happens to
winter bees produced in late August and September if they forage a crop late
into the fall? Are they still winter bees with their longer life spans?
This radish could stand until they finish potatoes and beets the end of
October. This is effectively the end of fall with winter just around the
corner.
Thanks
Dave
