I dont have completed results but here in day 2 in central va with mid 70s
at night and the upper limits in the day of maqs treatment.
I had 2 hives out of now 60 being destroyed buy DWV. They might die anyway,
so I applied maqs, figured had nothing to loose even if temps get too
high...
Applied two strips to a both double deep hives and pushed the top box back
about an inch plus minus... One hive does have 2 supers above the second
deep, figured it would be extra room in the upper temps...
As soon as I placed the pads on the hive buzzed, but thats it. No unusual
bearding or anything...
Thats all I got right now so who knows. VA wont see true safe treatment
windows for another month...
I like the maqs, so easy to apply. I did not wear any breathing protection
and unless I tried I couldnt smell formic, I did wear gloves...
