That is correct.  My propert is a half-mile long and I keep some hives at each end and in the middle.

My overwintered hives are at at about the middle.  I plan to make nucs and move them to two other spots on the same property.  I am making bees, not honey, and figure that spacing the yards out a bit makes for better beekeeping.
