Just to digress from Mexico and Chile, Bob et al, and back to the seious question about Varroa in Oz. TODAY, 23Nov12, there was a startling news story on Oz radio, ABC A.M. Show, 0800 nationally, about a boat in Sydney Harbour with confirmed Asian bees on board, with suspected Varroa mites, not thought to have made it to land (should I have a credibility gap here?). Trevor Whitehead might like to add a comment, as he was interviewed about the story. No date of the event was given, so I am looking for a date for the story. LIDABBC ApiaryKangaroo Island
