I have been in Australia for 10 days. Due to go back to Canada tomorrow. I attended a beekeepers' meeting. There is no such reports about varroa. The country has an excellent surveillance system. They have been preparing at various levels including government and industry for the arrival for mites.
Let the investigation takes its course and I am sue more info will come out.
