Dear Iowa beekeepers,
Since Iowa has roughly two thirds of its land area planted to either corn
or soy, I'm curious as to bee health and survival when surrounded by such
agriculture. Could you please let me know your experiences? Hobby
beekeepers experience would be just as valuable as commercial, since I'm
hearing that hobby Iowa beekeepers are able to keep colonies alive when
surrounded by corn/soy monocultures. Feel free to write off List if you
prefer.
Thanks,
Randy
