Sure, blame it on me, and I won't mind, but make sure your facts are correct if you do.
I checked the thread and as far as I can see nobody ever mentioned the time of year when you treated. You merely said at "this" time of year meaning the time when you treated and Bob misunderstood it to mean "now".
It had nothing to do with quotes. Correct me if I am wrong.
Writers are requested to quote only the material necessary to make their meaning clear.
In this case there were no such words to quote.
