Food grade naphthenate(!) - that's right, no such thing. ( Sometimes in text based lists emoticons don't show and so I used an exclamation mark instead of an emoticon for "smart arse")I have a concern for using it anywhere on a hive, but it does seem to be suggested and I've seen it used on migratory covers and bottom boards sold by suppliers.  Are there specific regulatory exclusions to its use anywhere in the world, or has it been shown that residues are not found in honey, wax or propolis?
