*Dr. Jürgen Tautz* is the German bee researcher who wrote the wonderful book
"The Buzz about Bees."
He is currently trying to win funding for his Honeybee Online Studies
(HOBOS) project in a techno competition.
Details of the project may be viewed at:

http://www.centerforabetterlife.com/eng/magazine/article_detail.lasso?id=178

Dr. Tautz has entered the project in a competition for internet voting, and
requests beekeeper support. It is very easy to vote, although the
instructions are in German.

Here are excerpted instructions from Dr. Tautz [with notes by me]:

Currently we run with HOBOS in a competition in the internet and any
support is more than welcome!
As the completion is in German language I give a description in
English on how to vote.

Please go to this web-page
http://www.cleantech-award.de/home/wettbewerb/abstimmung/jetzt-abstimmen.html

then please scroll down until you find in the category Kategorie
KOMMUNIKATION the HOBOS-project by the BEEgroup [it is about 5/8 of the way
down the page]
[Click in the circle]
Then scroll [all the way down the page] to the box NAME and fill in your
name.
Then fill in the box E-mail with your e-mail address.
Then click onto ABSTIMMEN ["VOTE"]

You then will find in your be-mail box a message from the administration.
Please click then onto the link you see in the middle of this message.
Only after you did this your vote is valid.

It would be wonderful if you could recruit as many supporters as possible.
Thank you!

Best wishes,
Jürgen.

[The CleanTech group appears to be legitimate, and the site says that they
will destroy your email data after the competition]
