This is interesting and worrying.  Interesting in that here, in the UK, the use of antibiotics in hives is banned and we haven't had CCD or anything we can't blame on the weather or varroa. Worrying in that the experiments showed that mice (and therefore presumably humans) use the same mechanisms in dealing with chemicals.  Should poorly people taking antibiotics be especially careful to avoid foodstuffs that may have systemic neonicotinoids in them?
