Statement from "a *business law firm* with a distinctive approach"
http://www.dwf.co.uk/insight/articles/impact-of-gm-honey-rulings-impact-on-foodchain
From a legal perspective companies need not do anything until the Commission
and Member States determine a course of action. However for manufacturers
which are concerned about reputational issues then we recommend that they;
1. Identify which product lines contain ingredients which may contain honey.
2. Identify the honey's country of origin.
3. If it is from a country were GM crops are grown seek reassurances from
suppliers about the location of their sites and any GM crop sites.
4. Request the suppliers provide test results to show no GM pollen is
present.
