According to http://www.badbeekeeping.com/trivia.htm, 3000. I've always
used 3500.
When leaving the supers, the bees gorge on the honey in the burr comb before
leaving, so 3000 sounds reasonable in this case.
There may be some drying of nectar occurring before the bees abandon the
supers as well, and that can easily take off a few pounds too, especially if
the supers were isolated late in the day when a flow is on.
