Got a quick question about combining hives in late winter.
Got 1 hive that is queen right but low on bee numbers, shes laying a
small patch of eggs but far behind my others...
Got another hive that is queenless with a huge cluster of bees...
Typically I just use one sheet of newspaper in the summer but would
this work in late winter or should I just combine them and walk away?
Cant imagine much harm either way really at this point but figured id
solicit your thoughts...
