I have to admit, I'm a bit baffled.

Researchers and Beekeepers have been expressing quite a bit of concern over the exposure of honeybees to fungicides. As far as I can tell, the concerns are based on the anti-fungal activity of these substances (not inert ingredients, not incidental non-fungicidal effects).

Thymol is a very powerful anti fungal substance. ...it is also the "poster child" of "natural beekeeping treatments".

Are beekeepers that are using thymol concerned about the anti-fungal properties? Are beekeepers that are using thymol concerned about the exposure of their bees to agricultural fungicides?
