Post from another bee discussion list: I live in the Mojave desert of Southern California.
I have for the second year in a row, had hives die apparently from
poison. Going good in the morning and a carpet of dead bees in the
evening. My investigating did not reveal any spraying of any plants. We
do not have agriculture within 50 miles of here, so that is out. Any
ideas of plants that are poison to bees? Any help will be useful.
Thanks
Any of you out there in BEE-L land have a notion?
