Absolutely right.  I just fill the container with sugar, then fill it with
hot water out of the tap.  Then stir or shake.  If you have a sealable
container, invert for half an hour.  Stir or shake again.  Invert again for
half an hour.  All but a very small amount of sugar will remain undissolved
at this point.  Virtually none if you let it sit overnight.
