Although this comment does not relate to Kurt's symptoms, I want to
alert readers to a problem related to Lisinopril, a high blood
pressure medication, and a single honeybee sting. While taking
Lisinopril, I had a single sting on the cheek in front of the ear and
within 24 hours both eyes were swollen closed. However, I did not
experience any breathing difficulties or other abnormal
symptoms. The Physician explained that I was having an anaphylactic
reaction to Lisinopril and prescribed another high blood pressure
medication. Now, when I receive a honeybee sting, I experience
slight pain and redness with negligible swelling.
