We posted references on wound care with honey during the haitian quake. http://www.jacksscale.com/honeywoundcare.html
Had some contact in from our national media who offered to get the word to locals via their correspondents there Didnt get any requests for our honey but maybe the info was picked up. Very interesting study from medics in Africa. One of many examples where science finally catches up to folk wisdom. Proprietary wound dressings are gamma irradiated so as to eliminate any question of being a source of iatrogenic contamination, but at least with respect to the risk of botulism arising from honey, none has been reported. The majority of benefits as a wound dressing most likely come from physical properties inherent in all honeys vs any specifc factor from a floral source
