Aaron makes some good points that many of us take for granted.
I should mention, though, that the site at http://www,bee-l.org is
going to look different to different people because each of us can
customize our experience there and set preferences.
I'd recommend not to go there in a rush and expect that what you
see at first is what you get.
Take fifteen minutes, minimum, vist the "Subscribers Corner", and choose
your preferences. Try them out, play around, then decide if you like "Expert
Mode" or not and which other settings are best. The site will remember
you when you log in in future.
Many BEE-L users never have visited the site, since BEE-L can be used
by email only, and some are happy with querying the server for
searches and other functions, but most who take the time to learn the
website find the website an easy and intuitive way to particpate.
